Easy Homemade Pizza Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon sal t
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. In a small saucepan, combine tomato sauce and tomato paste over medium-low heat.
  2. Whisk until the paste is fully incorporated and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Stir in the oregano, basil, garlic powder, onion powder, sugar, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Simmer gently for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool completely before spreading onto pizza dough.
